Description/Responsibilities

Our Contracts Paralegal position will provide contract administration and management of the contract lifecycle for all Tivity Health contracts to advance Tivity Health’s strategic growth agenda and protect Tivity Health’s interests and assets. The role requires a basic knowledge and understanding of contracts.

Responsibilities include:

• Draft, review, edit and manage a broad range of contracts using Tivity Health standard templates (e.g., Non-Disclosure Agreements, Consulting Agreements, Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work)
• Provide guidance to internal clients on contractual and business issues, under the supervision of Tivity Health attorneys
• Daily monitoring of contracting inboxes and management of intake process for new contract requests
• Manage and track supplier contract approval and execution
• Maintain contract management database for all contracts including daily updates to contract agreement records in Salesforce/Conga
• Audit contract agreement records in Salesforce/Conga to ensure accurate input of information on contracts, proper signatures, scanning and filing
• Perform Office of Inspector General (OIG) exclusion checks for all new vendors
• Daily monitoring of legal marketing inbox and management of intake process for new legal marketing requests
• Daily maintenance and update of Legal Marketing tracker and Legal Marketing Teams site
• Respond to contract document requests and inquiries from internal business owners regarding status of upcoming auto renewals and expiration of contracts
• Delete, remove and archive contracts from legal file systems when terminated/expired/cancelled
• Develop strong collaborative working relationships with Legal and internal colleagues
• Assist Sr. Director with preparation of monthly MPR reports
• Assist with streamlining contract preparation, approval and maintenance processes
• Assist Sr. Director with special projects as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Paralegal Certificate/Degree
• 5+ years of experience working as a paralegal in a corporate and/or law firm environment, preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams), Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Adobe Sign
• Strong proficiency in Salesforce and Conga/Apttus.
• Experience working with and managing contracts lifecycle from start to finish.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of the legal requirements involved in a contract.
• Accuracy and detail oriented with strong commitment to follow through to completion.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including drafting, proofing and editing skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
• Technologically savvy and quick learner.
• Team player with ability to interact effectively with business and other functional areas across the organization and remain flexible in a rapidly changing environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment, with ability to resolve practical problems.
• Maintain confidentiality, and effectively and tactfully work with multiple levels of senior management.
• Ability to travel with overnight stay 2-3 times a year.
• Healthcare industry experience is a plus.

The hourly wage for this opportunity is $30.75 to $38.00 per hour. Compensation depends on several factors: qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
