Job Description

Responsible for investigating and confirming the facts of loss for advanced automobile accidents. Determines coverage, liability, damages, and adjusts and negotiates claims within the limit of authority.

This role is a remote opportunity for experienced Bodily Injury Adjusters. Preferred locations are Mountain or Pacific time zones.

1. Applies advanced understanding of insurance policies written by the company, the industry, and organizational relationships within the company and department.
2. Handles investigation regarding all aspects of advanced auto claims (coverage, liability, and damages) with discretion and independence within increased authority.
3. Reviews, evaluates, and negotiates basic to moderate injury claims involving injuries.
4. Recognizes and identifies vehicle body parts and understands other potential property damages.
5. Identifies customer needs and works to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills.
6. Determines subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle accordingly.
7. Utilizes increased experience in the Adjuster II level or rotates into a specialty position (Coverage, Investigation Specialist, Total Loss, etc.).

Education

4-year Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)

Experience

2 or more years of experience (Preferred)

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job does not have supervisory duties.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of the above requirements.

Compensation

Base salary ranges from $47,500 to $99,190 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Total compensation may include incentive pay such as bonuses or commissions.
