New River Electrical Corporation seeks an experienced, results-driven contracts manager to join our team.

As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for handling the full contract lifecycle for labor and services, supporting both the company and its clients, from simple to complex deals, including key materials, equipment, and EPC initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, make strategic decisions, and implement best practices within our procurement and contracting functions.

Objective of this Role

• Assist the VP of Strategic Sourcing and Procurement in building a lean and robust sourcing and procurement organization.
• Design and manage the entire contract lifecycle, ensuring fairness and benefit for all parties.
• Ensure contractual obligations are met by all parties.
• Conduct periodic reviews of existing contracts and resolve issues as they arise.
• Educate stakeholders on their rights and responsibilities per the contract.
• Establish a contract management system to streamline workflows and manage risks.
• Occasional limited travel may be required for off-site meetings or events.

Management Tasks

• Manage and lead contract specialists in labor, services, materials, and equipment.
• Oversee complex contracts and ensure compliance with terms.
• Draft, monitor, and review contracts across various organizational levels.
• Coordinate with legal for contract approval and advise stakeholders.
• Supervise contract performance to ensure adherence to terms.
• Prepare reports on contract performance for management review.
• Communicate contract status with internal and external stakeholders.
