Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector in Clearfield, Utah, seeks a Contracts Manager 2 to lead a contracts team for the ICBM-S organization. This on-site role reports to the Senior Contracts Manager and requires interim U.S. Government Secret clearance.

You will build and mentor a team, oversee contract administration, negotiations, and customer interfaces, and ensure compliance, risk posture, and profitable performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in contract administration and management.
• Experience negotiating and administering fixed-price and cost-reimbursable contracts.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a contracts team with training, guidance and career development for direct reports.
• Review and approve contractual documents to protect company posture and contractual requirements.
• Administer contracts and guide team in all facets of contract administration, including: compliance, interpretations, submittals, modifications.
• Serve as the primary interface with the customer and lead negotiations to achieve favorable terms and profits.
• Travel up to 10% to support major programs.
