Job summary

W.W. Clyde and Co. is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee the preparation, negotiation, and execution of vendor contracts for heavy civil projects in Utah.

The role collaborates with project teams, vendors, and legal to ensure contract integrity and alignment with project goals. You will manage the full contract lifecycle—from intake to closeout—draft and review agreements, and coordinate with Legal on risk and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• 5+ years of contracts management experience.
• Knowledge of contract law, insurance requirements, and licensing.
• Experience with contract lifecycle management software is preferred.

• Draft and review contracts (vendor, subcontracts, service agreements, land leases, etc.).
• Manage the full contract lifecycle: intake, review, approval, execution, amendments, and closeout.

Job Overview

The Contracts Manager oversees the preparation, negotiation, and execution of a wide range of vendor contracts. The role ensures contract compliance, risk mitigation, and alignment with project goals. Works cross-functionally with project teams, vendors, and legal to ensure contract integrity and execution success.

• Draft and review contracts (vendor, subcontracts, service agreements, land leases, etc.).
• Manage the full contract lifecycle: intake, review, approval, execution, amendments, and closeout.
• Coordinate with Legal to address risk and ensure compliance.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
