MWH Constructors is seeking a Contracts Manager for a large project near Boring, OR, with duties spanning contract compliance, change orders, and risk management. You will review NDAs, subcontracts, and PO terms while collaborating with Legal, Sales, and Operations to maximize value.

The role emphasizes cost controls, bids, estimates, and proper accounting practices to support project success. Strong writing and MS Office proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• This position requires a four-year degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of contract management, procurement or project management in construction.
• Proven experience negotiating and creating contracts and managing cost reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support subcontract management, prepare subcontract change orders, and negotiate contract terms to reduce risk.
• Assist in Prime Contract Change Orders development and entitlement substantiation.
• Manage financial reporting for the project aligned with prime contracts and change orders.
• Coordinate insurance, bonds, subcontracts, purchase orders, and vendor agreements.
• Advise on contractual risk with Legal and Risk teams and provide mitigation recommendations.
• Participate in risk reviews and change management team sessions.
• Provide pre-claim and claim support to Legal and project teams as needed.
