Job summary

X Technologies, Inc. in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Contracts Manager to coordinate and oversee government and vendor contracts, including negotiation of terms and performance requirements. The role requires ensuring contract compliance and leading contract-related audits and negotiations.

Based in an office setting with remote work options, you will collaborate with management to address contract-related issues and drive successful contract execution.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating contracts with government agencies.
• Deep knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation systems (FARS/DFARS).
• Ability to prepare, negotiate, and manage contracts and subcontracts.
• Experience establishing NDAs and teaming agreements.
• Support procurement of bids, proposals, and audit responses.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, monitor, and analyze contracts with Government agencies, other contractors, and vendors.
• Negotiate contract provisions and performance requirements under President direction.
• Ensure NDA, teaming agreements, and related contracts are in place.
• Coordinate bids and proposals; assess amendments or extensions of contracts.
• Review charges by contractors and vendors; prepare management reports.
• Monitor contract performance for completeness and accuracy; liaise with management.
• Lead negotiations, terminations, and re-negotiations; conduct site/monitoring visits if needed.
• Assist in preparing audit responses and resolutions; perform related duties.

Contracts Manager Job Summary

Under general direction, is responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and analyzing contracts with Government agencies, other contractors, and vendors. Under the direction of the President of the Company, formulates contract provisions and performance requirements. Working conditions are primarily in an office environment and remote.

Essential Job Functions

• In-depth knowledge of Government FARS and DFARS.
• Prepares and negotiates contracts and subcontracts, reviews contract provisions, and monitors contract compliance.
• Establishes and maintains NDAs, teaming agreements, and other like ventures.
• Formulates and coordinates the procurement of bids and proposals.
• Determines the necessity for amendments or extensions of existing contracts.
• Reviews charges assessed by contractors and vendors in the performance of services.
• Prepares written reports for management review.
• Reviews contract performance requirements for completeness and accuracy.
• Consults with management regarding contracts, departmental issues, problems, and related matters.
• Serves as a liaison to ensure contract fulfillment obligations.
• Leads in negotiations, terminations, and re-negotiations of contracts.
• May conduct site and monitoring visits.
• May assist department in preparing audit responses and resolutions to audit reports from external and internal entities.
• Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required.

• Supports Business Development by helping in outreach to other customers such as Cyber Command, Space Command, etc
• Recommends new contract opportunities.
