Job summary

Kranze Technology Solutions, Inc is seeking a Contract Manager to oversee the complete lifecycle of government contracts, ensuring compliance with FAR, DFARS, ITAR/EAR, and customer requirements. You will partner with Program Management, Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, and Engineering to support program execution and risk management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Finance, Law, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive contract management experience, preferably within the defense or aerospace industry.
• Strong working knowledge of FAR and DFARS
• Demonstrated experience negotiating complex government contracts
• Ability to interpret legal language and translate contractual requirements into actionable guidance
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with contract management systems and Microsoft Office tools
• Active or ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance, which requires US Citizenship

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including proposal review, contract negotiation, award, administration, modification, and closeout
• Lead contract negotiations with U.S. Government agencies and prime contractors
• Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, agency supplements, ITAR/EAR, and other applicable regulations
• Review and analyze Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Quote (RFQs), statements of work (SOWs), terms and conditions, and other contractual documents
• Identify contractual risks and propose mitigation strategies to internal stakeholders
• Draft, review, and negotiate contract terms, amendments, change orders and subcontracts
• Serve as the primary contracts point of contact for assigned programs and customers
• Partner with Program Management to monitor contract performance, scope, schedule, funding, and deliverables
• Support audits and compliance reviews (e.g., DCAA, DCMA) as required
• Maintain accurate contract files and documentation in accordance with company and regulatory requirements
• Provide guidance and training to internal teams on contractual obligations and compliance matters

As required by law in this state, the estimated salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 and represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect.
