Job summary

Holtec International in Camden, NJ is seeking a Contracts Manager to draft, negotiate, review, and administer complex agreements with customers, vendors, consultants, and strategic partners. You will liaise with product, finance, sales, and executive teams to mitigate risk and optimize commercial outcomes across energy and manufacturing sectors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as business, economics, finance or law.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in handling contract negotiations or JD degree in law.
  • Manufacturing/Energy Industry Experience preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent English and local language skills; both oral and written.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills that provide ability to interact with the most senior levels of the organization
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills and willingness to spend most of the working day editing documents in Word or developing Powerpoint training presentations
  • Proven ability to work efficiently, effectively and proactively in a fast paced deadline orientated environment

Responsibilities

  • Drafting, Evaluation, Negotiation and Execution of Non-Disclosure Agreements, Sales/ Agreements with strategic customers, Sub-contracts to vendors, Consulting Agreements, Licensing Agreements, Master Agreements, Teaming Agreements and review of customer/vendor proposed terms and conditions
  • Commercial and Public (Federal, State and Local Municipalities) Contracting
  • Support Product Management/Marketing to ensure company products and services are offered with appropriate, competitive terms and conditions
  • Help oversee Accounts Receivable for transaction compliance (milestones, deliverables and invoicing per the terms and conditions with customers)
  • Research vendor’s/supplier’s capabilities, identify a pool of candidate vendors/suppliers for project consideration
  • Organize all contracts, agreements and terms & conditions to establish an organized online filing system noting that there is not administrative support for this position
  • Develop a standard risk profile and lists of contracting guidelines for the company
  • Develop training protocols for sales, accounting and project management personnel on contracting
  • Ensure that signed contracts are communicated to all relevant parties to provide contract visibility and awareness, interpretation to support implementation.
  • Assist in the negotiation of contracts with an optimum mix of price and quality
  • Establish and maintain long-term working relationships or partnerships between the company and selected customers and vendors
  • Set targets as to the result to be achieved in price negotiations
  • Conduct the financial and contract negotiations at the appropriate management level
  • Identify and analyze economic developments in the market
  • Manage the competitive bidding and selection process
  • Negotiate contract terms, pricing and payment schedule, ensuring that the agreements with the vendors / suppliers are commercially advantageous
  • Intervenes, analyzes, manages and resolves business conflicts between the company and the vendors / suppliers

Job description

The Contracts Manager provides a high level of support to the current Vice President of Contracts. This role is responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and administering complex agreements with customers, vendors, consultants, and strategic partners while ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and company standards. The Contracts Manager will collaborate closely with business, project management, finance, sales, and executive leadership teams to mitigate risk, optimize commercial outcomes, and support the successful execution of projects across the energy and manufacturing sectors. The ideal candidate brings strong contract negotiation expertise, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while building productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities
