Job summary

ACA Group in Pittsburgh seeks a qualified attorney to draft, review, and negotiate contracts for its broker-dealer subsidiaries and related agreements. The role handles complex regulatory and compliance matters and supports the Legal Department.

You will advise internal clients, interact with outside counsel and service providers, and stay current on regulatory developments affecting broker-dealers and fund distribution.

Qualifications

• Juris doctor degree required, licensed in at least one jurisdiction.
• One to three years of relevant legal experience in law firms, regulatory agencies, or in-house; broker-dealer or financial services experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience drafting and reviewing complex agreements with large counterparties and financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to ACA’s broker-dealer subsidiaries.
• Research and provide legal advice on broker-dealer and mutual fund distribution regulatory issues.
• Communicate with clients, outside counsel, and service providers on terms and information.
• Stay updated on regulatory developments impacting broker-dealers and update contracts accordingly.
• Support the Legal Department with ad-hoc projects and initiatives.
