Opportunity
We are seeking a Contracts Coordinator to join our New York office (hybrid) in the Office of General Counsel. The role provides assistance to attorneys throughout the lifecycle of vendor contract review, negotiation, and approval, managing intake, coordinating cross‑functional reviews, and tracking contracts through execution. The Contracts Coordinator serves as a central point of contact for internal stakeholders and external vendors, ensuring all contractual arrangements align with the firm’s legal, operational, and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in reviewing agreements on behalf of the firm and its clients.
- Review and revise contract language to ensure inclusion of the firm’s standard provisions.
- Update defined terms and cross references in agreements.
- Prepare redlines and comparison documents to communicate proposed revisions to attorneys and counterparties.
- Track contracts throughout the review process, ensuring all necessary parties provide comments.
- Maintain a database of executed contracts.
- Maintain and develop template contracts, updating language and ensuring regular review.
- Create new template contracts as needed for new vendors.
- Communicate effectively with attorneys and business services professionals across Intellectual Property, Labor & Employment, Information Technology, Data Privacy, Finance, Legal Technology, and related departments to coordinate review of applicable terms.
- Assist with preparation of data‑privacy addendums in consultation with the firm’s data privacy manager.
- Develop project strategies to ensure efficient completion of tasks and manage firm resources responsibly.
- Maintain regular physical presence and comply with firm policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to produce error‑free work in a high‑volume environment.
- Excellent project management, analytical, troubleshooting and organizational skills.
- Discretion, independent and sound judgement.
- Proactive approach to organization, process management, and problem solving.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities.
- Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality.
- Organize and prioritize work, work well in fast‑paced environments, independently and within a team.
- Knowledge of relevant firm computer software (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint); ability to learn new software and operating systems.
- Flexibility to travel, adjust hours and work the hours necessary to meet business needs.
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum of three years of related experience in a law firm or professional services environment.

Salary
$80,000 - $90,000
