Job summary

Valcor Engineering Corporation seeks a Director of Contracts to lead contract administration, review, and regulatory compliance across the organization. You will negotiate terms with customers and suppliers, evaluate PO requirements, and maintain contract policies while coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure approvals and execution.

The role involves supervising Contracts staff, interfacing with legal counsel, and supporting compliance reporting (FAR/DFARS, REACH, RoHS, TSCA).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
• 8–10 years of progressive contracts administration or government contracting experience.
• Experience reviewing, negotiating, and administering commercial and government contracts.
• Familiarity with FAR/DFARS, DPAS, PO requirements, NDAs, and supplier questionnaires.
• Experience with REACH, RoHS, Conflict Minerals, EMRT, TSCA, and rare earth minerals.
• Experience with Exostar and Haystack Gold or similar contract management portals.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Experience supporting CMMC, CUI, or DoD supplier requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and negotiate contract terms for major customers across Valcor units.
• Review POs for terms, government requirements, DPAS, payments, export classifications, and FAR/DFARS.
• Perform contract reviews for RFP/RFQ/RFI; identify and negotiate favorable terms.
• Review and approve order transmittal forms for new contracts.
• Complete and submit Representations and Certifications and supplier questionnaires.
• Maintain contract policies, records, and training requirements.
• Oversee Contracts staff and provide day-to-day guidance and workload support.
• Coordinate with outside counsel on contractual matters.
• Oversee execution and management of NDAs with customers and suppliers.
