Job summary

Collier County BCC is seeking an experienced administrator to develop and implement programs, manage budgets, and supervise division operations. The role requires a bachelor’s degree and related experience, with fingerprinting as part of the process.

The position covers planning, reporting, audits, contract administration, and coordination of county-wide projects. You’ll work with data, compliance, and strategic initiatives within county government, ensuring adherence to public records rules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Two (2) years of related experience.
• Fingerprinting required.

Responsibilities

• Works on development and implementation of new and improved plans, procedures, techniques, and methods to adjust to changing requirements.
• Participates in resolution of critical and difficult problems related to assigned Division, Department, or program.
• Assists in planning and directing divisional/departmental programs, support services, and operations.
• Prepares statistical data, progress reports, and summaries with special reports, legal documents and agreements.
• Manages and monitors internal and external auditing of quality systems and processes.
• Reviews and prepares analytical reports, investigates problem areas, and recommends solutions.
• Oversees Division/Department records management to ensure Florida public records compliance.
• Provides information regarding software, applications, and procedures; troubleshoots programs/applications.
• Performs contract administration for systems and procured applications and modules.
• Provides training on new applications and documents processes and workflows.
• Performs financial reviews and analyses; monitors billing, expenditures, and financial reports; conducts cost analysis; supports budget development.
• Coordinates special projects; allocates resources; facilitates implementation; supports the project as needed.
• Assists in strategic and long-range planning; monitors legislation impacting operations; may oversee compliance.
