Job summary

SLB is seeking a Contracts Analyst to assist the Contracts Team Lead in handling routine contract tasks for customer and supplier agreements. The role includes drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and administering contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include generating reports, managing contract records, and participating in post-award activities, risk reviews, and training with the Legal Department.

Qualifications

  • 1–5+ years of experience in contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned contracts with minimal supervision.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to communicate clearly with sales, operations, and customers.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Track record of achieving negotiated outcomes that support business objectives.
  • High proficiency in English speaking and writing, including contract redlining and business correspondence.

Responsibilities

  • Review, negotiate, and draft contracts with customers for the provision of products and/or services.
  • Draft, review, proposes revisions, and negotiate contracts with suppliers when necessary.
  • Promote and ensure compliance with policies, standards, procedures, and contractual obligations, including obtaining all required legal approvals.
  • Generate contract reports and actively participate in post-award contract management, monitoring active/expiring contracts.
  • Manage and administer contract-related records in the contracts database in a timely basis.
  • Identify and propose improvements to contract management procedures and document lessons learned.
  • Participate in presentations/workshops related to contracting standards, processes, and reviews, and in Legal Department training initiatives.
