Job summary

ODMHSAS in Oklahoma City is seeking a Contracts and Procurement Officer to execute acquisitions in line with state laws and agency policies. You will review requisitions, prepare bid specifications, draft contracts, and maintain procurement files for materials, furniture, equipment, and services.

Level I–III outlines show the required experience: three years of technical clerical work; Level II adds contracting experience; Level III adds government purchasing experience.

Qualifications

  • Three years of technical clerical work
  • Two years of technical experience in contracting and/or procurement (Level II)
  • Three years of technical clerical work and two years of technical experience in contracting and/or procurement and three years’ experience as a purchasing agent or buyer (Level III)
  • Current CPO Certification or ability to obtain within two weeks
  • P-Card knowledge
