Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Contracts Administrator for an on-site role at the Rancho Bernardo campus in San Diego. The position involves managing the full contract lifecycle, from initial deal shaping through close-out, with emphasis on risk mitigation and compliant proposal development.

Primary duties include negotiating with customers, interpreting SOWs/CDRLs, and coordinating with program management, legal, finance, and operations to ensure contract objectives are met while safeguarding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in business management and/or contract administration (or a Master with 1 year).
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance (with BI within last 6 years or in CE).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SAP clearance before employment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Own the contract lifecycle from shaping the deal through close-out.
• Mitigate risk by reviewing terms related to financials, delivery, IP, indemnification, termination.
• Evaluate solicitations, model contracts, SOWs/SOOs, CDRLs and acceptance criteria.
• Drive proposal development to meet technical, financial and regulatory requirements.
• Lead negotiations with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary customer liaison for contract communications.
