Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Contract Administrator in Rolling Meadows, IL to support the MSTS Division. The role covers proposal preparation, contract negotiation, administration and closeout in accordance with policy and legal requirements.

The successful candidate will interact with management and customers to ensure obligations are met, review terms for risk, and help achieve financial goals. A Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of contracts experience (or a Master’s) and U.S.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience in contracts administration/management or a related field (i.e. contracts-related legal); OR a Master’s degree.
Experience using MS Office, specifically Word and Excel.
U.S citizenship required.
The ability to obtain and maintain US Government Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

Act as primary interface with customer for contractual issues; Monitor contract and program obligations.
Participate in contract proposal preparation, negotiations, administration, and customer contract activities.
Develop solutions to routine and complex contractual matters to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
Ensure timely delivery of all contractual deliverables (CDRLs/SDRLs) and submission of invoices.
