Job summary

Curtiss-Wright EMS - Target Rock in East Farmingdale, NY seeks a Contracts Administrator to manage major customer accounts and administer government contracts. You will monitor performance against proposals, review documents for policy and regulatory compliance, and respond to contract inquiries while authorizing work per specifications.

Responsibilities include acting as point of contact for prime customers, coordinating with internal departments, maintaining contract files, and supporting DCMA

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• 2–5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Understanding of Government contracts (FARs/DFARs) and applicable regulations.
• Education/ training: Bachelor's Degree.

Responsibilities

• Point of contact for assigned prime customer accounts.
• Liaison between customer and Target Rock operating departments for documentation and information.
• Review contractual documents for policy, government and contract specifications and requirements, and conformance to master agreements.
• Approve customer purchase orders and contracts.
• Provide support to DCMA inquiries.
• Work with customers to resolve open contractual issues.
• May negotiate terms and conditions with customers.
• Prepare and submit contract documents (Reports, Certifications, Representations, Teaming Agreements, Licenses, etc.).
• Maintain contract files and databases.

Contracts Administrator

We are looking for a Contracts Administrator to join our Target Rock team.

As our Contracts Administrator you will be responsible for specific major customer accounts. Conducts administration of government contracts. Monitors performance for conformance to original proposal. Reviews contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policy, government specifications and requirements, and conformance to master agreements. Responds to inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions. Initiates documentation to authorize work in accordance with contractual specification.

Location: East Farmingdale, NY

Salary rate: $76,100- $88,000

Your Challenge

• Works directly with customers to resolve a variety of open contractual issues.
• Reviews documents to authorize work in accordance with contractual specifications.
• May perform negotiations of terms and conditions and other requirements with customers.
• Prepares and submits contract documentations such as Reports, Certifications, Representations, Teaming Agreements, Sole Source Procurements, Licenses, etc.
• Maintains contract files and databases.

What You Bring

• U.S. Citizen
• 2-5 years' experience in a similar role
• Understanding of Government contracts and FARs/DFARs and other applicable regulations
• Microsoft Office
• Education / Training: Bachelor's Degree
