Job summary

Quantum Research International, Inc. in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Contracts Administrator to support government contracts across fixed-price, IDIQ and cost-plus vehicles with FAR/DFARS compliance.

You will manage subcontracts, amendments, and contract deliverables while coordinating with internal teams. The role requires a bachelor's degree (or 8 years experience) and at least five years in government contract administration, strong Excel/Costpoint skills, and the ability to obtain a DoD

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or eight years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu.
• Minimum of five years of experience in government contract or subcontract administration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with Deltek Costpoint is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and internal and external customers; strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, maintain a positive attitude, manage priorities, and produce results with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance, if required.

Responsibilities

• Administer all aspects of subcontracts, including drafting agreements, pricing, modifications, task order awards, and estimates to complete (ETCs), while providing timely responses and effectively managing competing priorities.
• Request or approve contract amendments, modifications, and extensions, as appropriate.
• Advise internal departments on contractual rights, requirements, and obligations.
• Compile data to support the preparation of bid estimates and establish and maintain complete, well-organized contract files.
• Coordinate the implementation of contract requirements to ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled accurately and on time.
• Examine estimates for labor, materials, equipment, travel, and other costs, as well as performance requirements and delivery schedules, to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare and submit contractual correspondence, notifications and change proposals.
• Support contract kickoff and closeout activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Mission:

Quantum is currently seeking a highly qualified Contracts Administrator to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama. The successful candidate will provide government contract administration support and monitor contract performance, including budgets, compliance documentation, schedules, and deliverables. This position will support fixed-price, IDIQ, and cost-plus contracts in accordance with applicable FAR and DFARS requirements.
