Job summary

W Services Group, LLC. is seeking a Contractor Relations Associate in Hauppauge, NY. The role focuses on supporting the Contractor Relations department and serving as the primary contact for Contract Partners.

You will monitor vendor resources, recruit contractors, prequalify candidates, and review contracts, payout terms, and invoicing. You’ll also update internal systems and communicate changes to stakeholders, ensuring timely payments and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Experience with MS Word, Excel & Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills essential.
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vendor database to ensure adequate staffing resources.
• Recruit contractor partners via job boards, search engines, and outreach.
• Prequalify potential partners through conversations and W Services questionnaire.
• Review and negotiate with contractor partners regarding agreements, work scope, payouts, and requirements.
• Ensure contractor invoice requirements are understood and met.
• Update Waves software with contractor, payout, or schedule changes and communicate updates.
• Maintain vendor notes in Waves and track critical contractor conversations and issues.
• Participate in market team calls and weekly updates to address opportunities and risks.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and assist accounting with sign-offs and paperwork.
