Job Summary: We are looking for a Business Analyst towork closely with our P&C insurance carrier clients to learn about their business needs as it relates to the functionality of our PolicyPort application. Leveraging their knowledge of underwriting and insurance processes, the Business Analyst I develops and documents business requirements that assists resources on the Product Delivery team in the development and implementation of a quality, enterprise web-based insurance processing application and solution.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Develops and documents business solutions for business problems and translates those solutions to technical personnel and sees those solutions through the delivery process. Develops quality documentation in support Strategic Outsource operations and ensures estimates and business requirements documents (BRD's) are developed and delivered in a timely manner, with accuracy. Coordinates with the technical team during technical architecture design, development and delivery of product changes and enhancements. Participates in business and technical requirements reviews and seeks to improve the application workflow for the betterment of our customers. Responds to production issues in a timely manner and assists in the triage of production issues. Provides all necessary support to new team members to ensure they gain a complete understanding of the PolicyPort application. Provides business guidance and support to ensure the future viability of the PolicyPort application.
