Job summary

Training Wheels ABA is seeking a detail-oriented Contracting & Credentialing Specialist to oversee provider contracting, credentialing, re-credentialing, and payer enrollment for our ABA and Speech Therapy services.

You will partner with HR, Recruiting, Clinical Leadership, RCM, Authorizations, Scheduling, Billing, and Operations to ensure timely credentialing, onboarding, and service delivery across multiple clinics. The role requires strong organization and independent work ethic.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in provider credentialing and enrollment.
• Experience with ABA, behavioral health, healthcare, or outpatient therapy.
• Knowledge of payer credentialing and enrollment processes.
• Experience managing CAQH profiles and commercial/Medicaid payer portals.
• Strong organizational and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple providers, applications, and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience with CentralReach or similar ABA practice management systems.
• Texas Medicaid familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Manage provider credentialing and enrollment for BCBAs, RBTs, SLPs across payers.
• Oversee payer contracting and renewals with tracking dates and fee schedules.
• Maintain CAQH profiles and ensure licenses, certifications, liability insurance are current.
• Monitor credentialing timelines and resolve enrollment barriers.
• Collaborate with HR, Recruiting, Clinical Leadership, RCM, and Operations.
• Support new clinic and service expansions with credentialing coordination.
• Maintain credentialing systems and reporting to identify gaps.
• Ensure confidentiality of provider, payer, and credentialing information.

Position Summary

The Contracting & CredentialingSpecialistoversees provider contracting, credentialing, re-credentialing, and payer enrollment for Training Wheels ABA's ABA and Speech Therapy services. This role ensures providers are properly credentialed and enrolled to support timely service delivery and billing while partnering closely with HR, Recruiting, Clinical Leadership, RCM, and Operations to support organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manageprovidercredentialing and enrollmentfor BCBAs, RBTs, SLPs, and other clinical providers across commercial insurance plans, Medicaid, and other applicable payers.


• Oversee payer contracting and renewals, including tracking effective dates, re-credentialing requirements, attestations, and fee schedules.


• Maintainaccurateprovider records and CAQH profiles,ensuringlicenses, certifications, liability insurance, and other required documentation remain current.


• Monitor credentialing timelines and resolve enrollment barriersto prevent delays in provider start dates, scheduling, billing, or service delivery.


• Partner cross-functionallywith HR, Recruiting, Clinical Leadership, RCM, Authorizations, Scheduling, Billing, and Operations to align credentialing with onboarding and organizational growth.


• Support new clinic and service expansionsby coordinating credentialing and payer enrollment needs.


• Maintain credentialing systems and reporting,identifyingprocess gaps and opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and turnaround times.


• Ensure compliance and confidentialitywhen managing provider, payer, andcredentialinginformation.
