Job summary

Soliant Health in North Carolina is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to deliver diagnostic imaging in a dynamic healthcare setting under a contract arrangement.

You will perform general ultrasound exams (abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts), prepare patients, document findings for physicians, and collaborate with radiologists to support accurate diagnosis and patient care while adhering to safety and infection-control standards.

Qualifications

• Current certification as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer from an accredited program.
• Proficient in abdominal, OB/GYN and small parts imaging.
• Knowledge of ultrasound equipment safety and quality control procedures.
• Ability to document and communicate findings to physicians and care team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility for a fast-paced clinical environment.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Prior hospital or healthcare facility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality general ultrasound exams per physician orders and guidelines.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Review and maintain accurate patient records and imaging logs.
• Collaborate with radiologists and care team to support accurate diagnosis and patient management.
• Uphold infection control, safety and privacy standards.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and report technical concerns.
