Puffco, headquartered in Los Angeles, is seeking a contract UI/UX Web Designer to shape the user experience of our digital storefront. You will balance aesthetic excellence with usability and performance, focusing on Shopify site enhancements and conversion-optimized interfaces.

Collaborating with ecommerce, marketing and development, you will craft data-driven designs, run A/B tests, and ensure accessibility, with hands-on Shopify page building and basic HTML/CSS skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in UX/UI design with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or similar design tools.
• Strong understanding of Google Analytics, Hotjar, and A/B testing.
• Experience in eCommerce UX, CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization), and persuasive design.
• Hands-on Shopify experience for building and customizing pages.
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS.
• Ability to solve complex design problems with simple, elegant solutions.
• Strong communication skills to present and defend design decisions with data-backed insights.

Responsabilités

• Shopify Page Building & Site Customization: Build custom pages and simple modules from scratch in Shopify.
• Shopify Page Building & Site Customization: Make design adjustments across the site, including promotional updates.
• Shopify Page Building & Site Customization: Ensure brand consistency while adapting for seasonal campaigns and promotions.
• Shopify Page Building & Site Customization: Work with developers to troubleshoot and implement design solutions efficiently.
• Conversion Optimization & Visual Impact: Develop engaging, conversion-focused interfaces that enhance user engagement.
• Conversion Optimization & Visual Impact: Optimize landing pages, PDPs, and checkout flows for improved performance.
• Conversion Optimization & Visual Impact: Apply persuasive design principles to improve customer experience and drive sales.
• User-Centered & Data-Driven Design: Use analytics tools to uncover user pain points and inform design decisions.
• User-Centered & Data-Driven Design: Conduct A/B tests and usability research to optimize user flows and wireframes.
• User-Centered & Data-Driven Design: Ensure accessibility and inclusivity in all designs.
