Job summary

Puffco, based in Los Angeles, seeks a contract UI/UX Web Designer to shape the Shopify storefront. You will balance aesthetic excellence with usability and collaborate with ecommerce, marketing and development teams to deliver conversion-focused experiences.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in UX/UI design, hands-on Shopify, and experience with analytics tools (GA, Hotjar, A/B testing). Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and basic HTML/CSS is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in UX/UI design with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Hands-on Shopify experience for building and customizing pages.
• Strong understanding of analytics tools and A/B testing.

Responsibilities

• Shopify Page Building & Site Customization: Build custom pages and simple modules from scratch in Shopify.
• Conversion Optimization & Visual Impact: Develop engaging, conversion-focused interfaces and optimize landing pages, PDPs, and checkout flows.
• User-Centered & Data-Driven Design: Use analytics tools to uncover user pain points and inform design decisions; conduct A/B tests and usability research.
• Design System & Development Collaboration: Maintain design system and collaborate with developers to implement designs.
