Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state of employment.
• Minimum 6 months' experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws and labeling specimens.
• Centrifuging specimens and decontamination.
• Collects and stores specimens per procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure specimen integrity.
• Attend trainings; follow OSHA and DEP regulations.
• Answer calls and read lab results as needed.
