Job summary

RFS Behavioral Health is seeking experienced contract therapists to deliver high-quality behavioral-health services to children and families in Toledo and Sylvania. This independent contractor role offers flexibility, autonomy, and meaningful work beyond the therapy room.

Licensure in Ohio (LSW/LPC or higher) and experience with children, adolescents, or families are preferred. Therapists will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and coordinate care with schools and community partners,

Qualifications

• Active Ohio LSW, LPC, or higher behavioral-health licensure.
• Experience serving children, adolescents, or families preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage scheduling and clinical responsibilities independently.
• Reliable transportation and ability to serve the assigned area.
• Commitment to ethical, compassionate, and client-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and group therapeutic services
• Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-informed interventions based on each client’s needs
• Help clients work toward measurable clinical goals
• Coordinate care with families, schools, and community partners
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Maintain all applicable professional, ethical, and regulatory standards
