Job summary

Easter Seals Greater Houston seeks a Technical Project Manager (Contract) to lead our digital products from plan to launch, with hybrid work in Houston. You will collaborate with partners, program leaders and internal teams to deliver projects on time and on budget, while maintaining healthy, secure systems and planning for future AI-enabled improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, business or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years managing web or software development projects.
• Hands-on with Agile methods, preferably Scrum.
• Experience managing outside vendors or contractors, including scope, deliverables and invoices.
• Understanding of web architecture, cloud hosting and relational databases.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan projects: set goals, scope, work breakdowns, schedules and budgets.
• Run delivery using Agile/Scrum and keep staff and vendors on track.
• Manage development vendors, contracts and invoices, lead transitions.
• Explain technology choices to leadership in plain language, incl. AI and cloud.
• Own maintenance strategy for websites and apps across tests and production.
• Improve processes and support grant writing with technical content.
