Job summary
Strategic Staffing Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Product Owner in Houston, TX to support a Corporate Affairs Digital Platform team.
You will deliver digital tools to plan, publish, and measure communications for internal and external audiences, with strong technical fluency and Agile ownership. You will work with marketing technology platforms, AI tools, and cloud services, driving backlog, UAT, and stakeholder collaboration while ensuring alignment with business objectives and security
Qualifications
- 5+ years in product ownership, web development, software engineering, or business analysis.
- Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs, and CMS integrations.
- Engages IT partners confidently on technical design and solutions.
- Proficient with Copilot or other LLM tools; applies privacy and data handling discipline.
- Agile ownership including backlog, user stories, and UAT; Azure DevOps preferred.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management in a matrix organization.
- Shows initiative, ownership, and the ability to work independently in ambiguity.
- Demonstrates career stability with prior long-term tenure.
Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to understand challenges, gather requirements, and define solutions.
- Translate vision into prioritized backlogs with user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Drive Agile delivery through backlog refinement, sprint planning, and reviews.
- Plan and execute UAT and validate delivered work against criteria.
- Configure and document marketing technology platforms as needed.
- Collaborate with IT on architecture, integrations, environments, and security reviews.
- Manage SaaS vendors, roadmaps, licensing, and renewals with procurement.
- Use AI tools daily to support research, analysis, requirements, and prototyping.
- Lead change management and training for successful adoption.
- Support prioritization discussions to align with business objectives.
