Job summary

Motion Recruitment seeks a Contract Technical Curriculum Analyst to shape cybersecurity education for CompTIA Security+ and CySA+ certifications. You will translate real-world practices into engaging content and work with product teams to build a certification-focused learning experience.

You will collaborate with instructional designers and instructors, applying your cybersecurity expertise to create practical labs and assessments over a 3–6 month contract.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of professional cybersecurity experience.
• Experience in cybersecurity analysis, security operations, risk assessment, vulnerability management, compliance, or a related area.
• At least some experience creating, delivering, reviewing, or supporting cybersecurity training or educational content.
• A current cybersecurity certification such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CISSP, CEH, or a related credential.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain cybersecurity concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a cybersecurity subject matter expert and curriculum product partner.
• Help develop and organize curriculum aligned with CompTIA Security+ and CySA+ objectives.

Contract Technical Curriculum Analyst – Cybersecurity

Contract | 3–6 Months | $42–$49/hr + Health Benefits + 401(k)

We are looking for a Cybersecurity professional who enjoys teaching, training, or creating educational content to help develop a new cybersecurity curriculum focused on preparing learners for CompTIA Security+ and CySA+ certifications.

This is a great opportunity for a cybersecurity practitioner who wants to apply their technical experience in an education and curriculum development environment. You will help shape what students learn, translate real-world cybersecurity practices into practical learning content, and work with curriculum and product teams to build an engaging certification-focused learning experience.

What We’re Looking For

• 4–6 years of professional cybersecurity experience
• Experience in cybersecurity analysis, security operations, risk assessment, vulnerability management, compliance, or a related area

• A current cybersecurity certification such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CISSP, CEH, or a related credential

Preferred Experience

• Experience developing curriculum or training for cybersecurity certifications
• Experience with Learning Management Systems or digital learning platforms
• Experience developing cybersecurity labs, exercises, assessments, or instructional materials
• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms
• Experience with cybersecurity risk assessment or compliance
• Cybersecurity experience in healthcare, including familiarity with HIPAA and related regulations
• Experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Curriculum Developer, Instructor, or Cybersecurity SME
• Familiarity with NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, vulnerability management, incident response, or security operations

This is a project-based contract opportunity expected to run approximately 3–6 months, making it a good fit for a cybersecurity professional interested in applying their industry experience to workforce development and technical education
