Job summary

Royal Caribbean Group in Miami is seeking a temporary Talent Sourcer to execute strategic sourcing for NewBuild hiring initiatives. You will create proactive candidate pipelines, partner with recruiters and HR partners, and support selection across engineering, design, and ship delivery domains.

The role emphasizes collaboration with internal stakeholders, market insights, and delivering timely talent in a dynamic shipbuilding environment. This is an onsite role based in South Florida.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field from an accredited college or university or international equivalent.
• Minimum two (2) years’ experience in working for a global/international organization in the same capacity.
• Working knowledge of computers, internet, and HRIS; familiar with social media and brand efforts.
• Good working knowledge in recruitment strategies and talent pool management.
• Ability to quickly learn and source for specialized NewBuild talent segments including maritime, engineering, design, shipbuilding, hotel operations, safety, and project delivery roles.

The Royal Caribbean Group’s NewBuild and Innovation Team has an exciting opportunity for a temporary Talent Sourcer.

This position will work onsite in Miami, Florida. Only candidates that are currently based in South Florida will be considered.

About the NewBuild Team

Royal Caribbean Group’s NewBuild and Revitalization Team leads the planning, design, and delivery of new ships from concept to launch. Partnering with shipyards and internal stakeholders, the team coordinates engineering, hotel operations, safety, regulatory compliance, and innovation to ensure each vessel meets brand standards and guest experience expectations. Through disciplined project execution and cross-functional collaboration, the team brings next-generation ships to life while supporting long-term growth and fleet innovation.

Position Summary:

The temporary Talent Sourcer executes strategic sourcing activities in partnership with shoreside Talent Acquisition, with dedicated support for NewBuild hiring initiatives across levels and functions. The role develops proactive talent pipelines for specialized positions that contribute to the planning, design, engineering, construction, operational readiness, safety, and delivery of new ships.

The ultimate goal is to ensure the NewBuild Team can consistently engage and deploy the right talent, in the right place, at the right time, and at the most efficient cost, enabling successful ship delivery, fleet growth, and continued innovation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Builds and implements sourcing strategies aligned with NewBuild workforce plans, project milestones, and evolving talent needs.
• Partners with Recruiters, HR Business Partners, and NewBuild hiring leaders to understand technical, operational, and project-specific requirements across engineering, design, hotel operations, safety, innovation, and ship delivery.
• Identifies and engages talent for specialized and difficult-to-fill roles through social media, job boards, niche maritime and technical communities, the open web, professional networks, and other relevant platforms.
• Creates proactive candidate pipelines ahead of demand and supports real-time hiring needs across multiple ship programs, locations, and project phases.
• Leverages candidate pipelines within the ATS to identify qualified talent and maintain long-term relationships with prospective candidates.
• Provides market insights and competitive intelligence related to maritime, shipbuilding, engineering, hospitality, project management, safety, and other NewBuild talent segments.
• Collaborates with Recruiters to develop market strategies, calibrate candidate profiles, communicate pipeline health, and support timely hiring decisions.
• Builds and maintains effective relationships with NewBuild stakeholders, including internal functional teams and hiring managers supporting shipyards, design development, construction, commissioning, and operational readiness.
• Partners with Recruitment Operations, recruitment marketing, and events teams to improve sourcing effectiveness and strengthen awareness of NewBuild career opportunities.
• Provides inbound sourcing and candidate or requisition management support as needed.
• Promotes consistent feedback on candidates, whether hired or not, to improve sourcing strategy, candidate experience, and recruitment processes.
• Tracks and meets operational business goals and KPIs, including pipeline quality, responsiveness, conversion, and delivery against NewBuild hiring priorities.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, business administration, or related field from an accredited college or university or the international equivalent required.
• Minimum two (2) years’ experience in working for a global / international or reputable local organization in the same capacity.
• Working knowledge of computers, internet access, and the ability to navigate within an automated HRIS system as well as variety software packages such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; familiar with social media and relevant company / brand efforts.
• Good working knowledge in recruitment strategies and talent pool management.
• Ability to quickly learn and source for specialized NewBuild talent segments, including maritime, engineering, design, shipbuilding, hotel operations, safety, technology, and project delivery roles.
• Knowledge of accepted human resources practices and the laws governing employment and fair treatment of employees globally.
• Must be tactful, resolute, and committed to providing excellent customer service.
• Must have a flexible approach to change, pivot as necessary, is able to work effectively in a variety of situations, seeks improvements and looks to the future.
• Strong written and presentational skills; ability to clearly communicate complex messages to a variety of audiences including management.
