Job summary

Metric Engineering, Inc. seeks a Contract Support Specialist to support the ITS CEI team in Central Florida, based in Orlando. Experience with FDOT and/or CFX is highly desirable, along with strong clerical and data management skills.

The role focuses on office support, document control, and coordinating contract-related tasks. Responsibilities include assisting with progress meetings, estimates, data uploads, and submittals under supervision of senior engineers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• FDOT and/or CFX experience preferred.
• Four (4) years construction project related experience.
• Ability to exercise independent judgement in planning work details and making technical decisions.
• Ability to interpret project drawings and technical specifications, organize and summarize construction quantities, and perform computer data entry.

Responsibilities

• Exercising independent initiative to help relieve supervisor of clerical detail.
• Assisting the Project Administrator in office related duties (MAC, progress meetings, monthly/final estimates, EEO compliance, processing contract changes, data upload, submittal tracking, staff certifications).
• Project specific work under the general supervision of the Senior Project Engineer and staff.
