Job summary

CBRE Lead Business Operations/Contracts Supervisor role in the United States is to oversee the contract support team, manage vendor agreements, and strengthen partner relationships. You will ensure timely delivery of contractual services and compliance with policies.

This hybrid position (3 days in office/2 days remote) may require regional travel; you will drive process improvements, coach staff, and coordinate with procurement and legal to meet business objectives.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years of job-related experience.
  • Prior management or supervisor experience is needed.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with Coupa/MyBuy, JDEdwards, purchasing programs is required.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a master-level inquisitive mindset.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Set team goals for performance and deadlines; ensure alignment with plans and vision.
  • Train and lead contract support associates and other team members.
  • Create and review vendor contracts for eligibility and SLAs.
  • Create RFPs and solicit contract bids for projects, resources, maintenance, and services.
  • Monitor team productivity and provide feedback and coaching.
  • Organize and schedule team responsibilities; ensure clear delegation.
  • Maintain timekeeping and personnel records; review and approve timecards.
  • Receive escalated complaints and resolve difficult problems.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and company policies; execute disciplinary actions if needed.
  • Identify approaches to existing solutions to accomplish team objectives.
  • Establish new techniques to help the team meet objectives.

What You’ll Do
  • Set the team goals for performance and deadlines. Ensure compliance with the company’s plans and vision.
  • Train and lead contract support associates and other team members.
  • Create and review vendor contracts for eligibility and service level agreements.
  • Create RFP’s (Request for Proposals) and solicit contract bids for projects, resources, maintenance, and services.
  • Monitor contract support associate team members productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
  • Organize and schedule team members work responsibilities and ensure that employees understand their delegated tasks and duties.
  • Announce important information from upper management to employees.
  • Maintain timekeeping and personnel records. Review and approve timecards.
  • Receive escalated complaints and resolve difficult problems.
  • Verify adherence to legal and company policies and procedures. Complete disciplinary actions if the need arises.
  • Resolve complex problems and identify appropriate approaches to existing solutions to accomplish team objectives.
  • May establish new techniques to ensure the team is able to meet its objectives.
  • Has a direct impact on the team objectives as well as the objectives of related teams.
  • Ensure personal and team outcomes have a positive impact on customer objectives.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Guide team through the application of basic knowledge of practices and procedures. Work to build consensus.
What You’ll Need
  • High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years of job-related experience. Prior management or supervisor experience is needed.
  • In-depth understanding of Vendor programs, processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function and basic knowledge of related job functions required.
  • Requires the ability to explain complex concepts or sensitive information.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Experience with Coupa/MyBuy, JDEwards, Purchasing programs is required.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a master-level inquisitive mindset.
  • Exceptional math skills. Ability to calculate sophisticated figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.

The minimum salary for the Lead Business Ops/Contracts Supervisor position is $70,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Lead Business Ops/Contracts Supervisor position is $90,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
