Texas Department of Transportation Fort Worth District seeks a Contract Specialist II or III to join our procurement and contract management team in Cleburne, TX. You will work with a variety of contracts, vendors, and stakeholders to support district needs.
This full-time role requires attention to detail, strong customer service, and the ability to operate independently, with guidance as needed. TxDOT offers growth, comprehensive benefits, and work-life balance.
Performs contract duties to include developing, analyzing, evaluating, reviewing, processing, ensuring applicable compliance, inspecting, implementing and/or monitoring contracts. Work requires extensive contact with division and district personnel. Employees at this level perform work independently on assignments; however, all unusual issues are referred to the supervisor.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field.
Relevant work experience may be substituted for degree on a year per year basis.
2 YEARS Contract administration, administrative support, bookkeeping or accounting (Experience can be satisfied by fulltime or prorated parttime equivalent)
Related graduate level education may be substituted for experience on a year per year basis.
3 YEARS in contract administration, administrative support, bookkeeping or accounting. (Experience can be satisfied by fulltime or prorated parttime equivalent)
