Job summary

Jobtailor in Washington, DC is seeking a federal contract close-out professional to specialize in closing firm-fixed-price, time-and-material, labor-hour, and hybrid contracts for a federal client. You will prepare expired contracts for archiving or destruction and ensure compliance with DOJ-related processes.

The ideal candidate has at least four years of federal contract closeout experience, a Bachelor's degree, and acquisition certifications (FAC-C, DAWIA, ICCM).

Qualifications

• Minimum of four (4) years of federal contract closeout experience.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Current or previous work with the Department of Justice (DOJ) is preferred.
• Acquisition certification is highly preferred (e.g., FAC-C, DAWIA, ICCM-D, ICCM-F, NCMA certifications).
• Experience preparing expired contracts for archiving or destruction.
• Experience closing simple and complex contract types, including FFP, LH, and cost-type contracts.
• Must be able to obtain or retain a Public Trust clearance.
• Public Trust investigation includes credit, fingerprint, and law enforcement agency checks.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid work environment.
