Job summary

Gentis Solutions is seeking a Contract Management Specialist to support its IT Portfolio Operations team. This role is approximately 75% IT contract management and 25% portfolio operations, managing contract requests, renewals, extensions, and changes across multiple IT services and labor agreements.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable coordinating with sourcing teams, vendors, portfolio leads, and business partners.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in contract management, vendor management, procurement, or related experience.
• Experience managing renewals, extensions, contract changes, and expiration deadlines.
• Experience supporting IT services, technology, professional services, or IT labor agreements.
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with financial, budget, or contract data.
• Experience with purchase orders, invoicing, budgeting, or related operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage new contract requests, renewals, extensions, amendments, and change requests
• Track contract expiration dates and proactively initiate renewal follow-up
• Coordinate contract requirements, timelines, changes, and approvals with stakeholders
• Review requests for completeness before they move through the sourcing process
• Support managed services, fixed-bid, and time-and-material IT engagements
• Maintain accurate contract and operational information in applicable systems
• Place purchase orders and support purchasing and invoicing activities
• Assist with operating budget tracking and related financial activities
• Manage multiple deadlines, follow-ups, and contract priorities simultaneously
• Communicate status, risks, upcoming needs, and outstanding actions

Pay: $25.50–$28.50 per hour $53,040 - $59,280 per year

Schedule: Eastern Time hours

Duration: 6 months, contract-to-hire

Start Date: ASAP

Work Arrangement: Remote or onsite; local candidates preferred because onsite work may be required if the role converts to a permanent position
