The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time Contracting Officer, GS-1102-14 to work for the Cyber Capabilities Support Office (CCSO), Secretary of the Air Force Concepts, Development, and Management Office (SAF/CDM) at Fort Washington in Fort Washington, Maryland.
Position requires the employee to have a warrant up to $10M.
SALARY RANGE: $143,913 - $187,093
Relocation/Recruitment may be offered.
Position is emergency-essential. In the event of a crisis situation, the incumbent, or designated alternate, must continue to perform the Emergency-Essential duties until relieved by proper authority. The incumbent or the designated alternate may be required to take part in readiness exercises. This position cannot be vacated during national emergency or mobilization without seriously impairing the capability of the organization to function effectively. This meets the criteria of an Emergency-Essential position and requires that the incumbent, or the designated alternate, be removed from any military recall status. Employee must sign DD Form 2365 as a condition of employment.

You will serve as a warranted contracting officer for the Cyber Capabilities Support Office (CCSO), Secretary of the Air Force Concepts, Development, and Management Office (SAF/CDM). To provide business advice and perform all pre-award and post-award functions for a wide variety of highly specialized procurements of significant importance to the agency or multiple agencies using a wide range of contracting methods and types. To procure services, and commodities for complex and/or diversified programs such as Program Executive Officer (PEO) programs; Acquisition Category (ACAT) rated programs, actions deemed as “other contracting” pursuant to the Air Force FAR supplement; enterprise-wide strategic sourcing initiatives or programs affecting strategic national objectives; research, development, production, operational test and evaluation, sustainment of extensive specialized equipment or systems, state-of-the-art systems, and/or programs and equipment that are not well defined or span successive program stages.
