• Adjust bust cups; sew lace motifs and placement adjustments.
• Remove stains, dirt, and water marks from gowns.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced se wist to work on an hourly on-call /independent vendor basis. Must be available with relatively short notice (usually 1-3 days), though more advanced notice will be provided when available, to work within our headquarters in Lenexa, KS.

Qualifications

The following sewing skills are required :

• Key tasks will be to assist with bridal gown alteration and repairs.
• Attention to detail, a sharp eye, and high-quality standards are a must . Quick turn-around is often required . Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
• The following sewing skills are required :
• Replacing hanger and train loops
• Sewing on and replacing buttons
• General tacking-must know how to tack seamlessly and not have visible stitches
• Replacing/changing boning
• Adjusting bust cups
• Sew lace motifs and lace placement adjustment
• Remove stains, dirt, or water marks
