OneSource Virtual (OSV) is seeking a Contract Service Delivery Trainer to design and deliver onboarding and readiness training focused on Workday and OSV’s BPaaS systems. • 3+ years specializing in Workday Payroll training or system administration.
• Deep understanding of Workday BP, security groups, and payroll reporting structures.
• Experience with gross-to-net calculations, tax compliance, year-end processing, wage garnishments, and multi-state/global payroll compliance.
• Fast learner able to acclimate quickly to a new tenant, team, and payroll policy set within a compressed contract timeline.
• Ability to manage multiple training deliverables independently with limited guidance and minimal ramp-up support.
• Excellent public speaking, facilitation, and written communication skills.
• Preferred Certifications Workday Pro (Payroll or HCM) and CPP.

• Training Delivery – Lead engaging virtual ILT sessions for diverse audiences; include microlearning where appropriate.
• Evaluation & Optimization – Assess training effectiveness via surveys and knowledge checks.
• Administration – Coordinate training schedules, registrations, invites, and maintain training records through contract end.

This is a Temporary/Seasonal Contract role expected to last approximately 3 months or longer

Job Profile Summary

The Contract Service Delivery Trainer is responsible for designing and delivering job-specific onboarding and readiness training with a concentrated focus on Workday and OSV’s BPaaS systems and processes. This is a defined-term engagement to support a hiring surge. The successful candidate is adept at translating complex payroll operations into clear, actionable training for everyone from entry-level coordinators to seasoned payroll managers. Delivery offerings include role-based curriculum, sandbox-based hands-on practice, virtual instructor-led sessions, and post-go-live hyper-care support.

Essential Functions / Duties / Responsibilities

• Training Needs Assessment – Confer with Lead Trainer, Service Delivery leadership, and subject matter experts to identify development needs and priorities specific to Payroll (US/Global).
• Curriculum Development – Design and develop training curricula, course materials, and learning assets using instructional design best practices.
• Sandbox Environment Management – Set up and maintain Workday training environments to support realistic, hands-on practice without disrupting live production data.
• Training Delivery – Lead engaging virtual ILT sessions for diverse audiences, including payroll processors, specialists, and seasonal employees; incorporate microlearning where appropriate.
• Evaluation & Optimization – Assess training effectiveness via surveys and knowledge checks.
• Administration – Coordinate training schedules, registrations, and invites for the duration of the contract; maintain training records and rosters, and hand off documentation at contract end.

Qualifications and Experience

• 3+ years specializing in Workday Payroll training or system administration
• Deep understanding of Workday business processes (BPs), security groups, and reporting structures related to payroll
• Experience with gross-to-net calculations, tax compliance, year-end processing, wage garnishments, and multi-state/global payroll compliance
• Fast learner able to acclimate quickly to a new tenant, team, and payroll policy set within a compressed contract timeline
• Ability to manage multiple training deliverables independently with limited guidance and minimal ramp-up support
• Excellent public speaking, facilitation, and written communication skills; patience with non-technical learners
• Preferred Certifications Workday Pro (Payroll or HCM) Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)
