Job summary

Intone Inc. is seeking a SQL Database Administrator for a 12-month contract in Downtown Houston, Texas. You will manage SQL Server databases across multiple versions and support production systems to ensure performance and high availability.

Responsibilities include managing enterprise database infrastructure, automating tasks, monitoring performance, and applying optimization strategies. Experience with PostgreSQL or MongoDB, and cloud services on AWS/Azure, is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator
• Strong experience with SQL Server 2016-2022
• Hands-on experience managing PostgreSQL or MongoDB in production environments
• Strong knowledge of AWS and Azure database services
• Experience with database automation and scripting
• Proficiency in T-SQL
• Proficiency in PowerShell
• Experience supporting enterprise database environments
• High school diploma or GED equivalent

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain SQL Server databases across multiple versions in production environments
• Support enterprise database infrastructure and ensure system reliability
• Perform database automation and scripting tasks
• Monitor database performance and implement optimization strategies
• Administer PostgreSQL or MongoDB databases in production as needed
