Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the nuclear field.
• Experience with nuclear safety analysis and reactor system modeling.
• Proficiency with NRC submittals e.g. FSAR Chapter 15.
• Familiarity with non-LWR design regulatory guidance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update commissioning/start-up test abstracts and specs.
• Use safety analysis results to support SSC performance and procedures.
• Model systems and analyze AOO/DBE/DBA for Natrium Demonstration reactor.
• Collaborate to define SSC requirements and support design.
• Integrate NEI 18-04 LBE analyses into licensing docs and design activities.
• Document model development and analysis results.
• Review other analyses and designs (e.g., ASME transients).
• Assess transient benchmark tests and perform benchmarking.
• Contribute to software framework for transient/accident analysis.
