Job summary

Innosoft Corporation is seeking a Contract Security Engineer to join the DoA Division of Information Security on a 12-month engagement. The role emphasizes security automation, IAM, Linux, and enterprise security tools across a large, multi-agency environment.

You will develop Python-based automations, dashboards, and integrations; support incident response, vulnerability management, and platform administration in Docker-based environments; work with Security Architects, Analysts, and Engineers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and security-focused education.
• Eight years of relevant work experience; substitutions allowed.
• Five years in large IT environments, security systems, or deployments.
• CISSP, Security+, GIAC, or equivalent certification.
• Linux, Python, Cloud, IAM or related certifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, deploy, administer, and support enterprise security automations and tools.
• Develop Python-based automations, APIs, dashboards, and integrations.
• Create automated workflows for alerting, triage, and incident response.
• Build tools for CVE vetting, vulnerability enrichment, and risk scoring.
• Support IAM functions: provisioning, deprovisioning, RBAC, API credentials.
• Deploy and manage Linux systems, containers, and security sensors.
• Collaborate with Security Architects, Engineers, SOC Analysts, and stakeholders.
