Job summary

Innosoft Corp. is seeking a Contract Security Engineer to join a large enterprise security team. The role focuses on designing, developing, and implementing security automations, tools, and integrations across IAM, vulnerability management, and cloud security.

You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and incident responders to improve security tooling and processes. The position requires extensive cybersecurity experience, strong Python development, and hands-on Linux expertise.

Qualifications

• Broad hands-on security engineering experience across multiple cybersecurity technologies and integrations.
• Experience developing security automations, scripts, and tools using Python.
• Strong troubleshooting across applications, security platforms, OS, networks, and identities.
• Experience with Linux deployment, patching, scripting, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Experience building automation and response workflows using Python, PowerShell, Bash, REST APIs, JSON, YAML, and vendor SDKs.
• Experience supporting IAM, DSPM, ASM, vulnerability management, email/security, SIEM, cloud security, and other enterprise security technologies.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, deploy, administer, and support enterprise security automations and custom tools.
• Develop Python-based automations, dashboards, APIs, and system integrations.
• Create automated workflows for alert enrichment, incident response, and reporting.
• Develop tools for CVE vetting, vulnerability enrichment, prioritization, and security decision support.
• Support security platforms including IAM, DSPM, ASM, SIEM, SOAR, endpoint security, and cloud security.
