Job summary

Kelly Pediatric Therapy is seeking a temporary Licensed Social Worker (LSW) to provide school-based services for a local school district in Reading, PA. The role begins September 10 and could run for an undetermined period.

The position is a 1099 independent contracting role with mentorship and supporting resources to ensure effective service delivery to students, families, and school staff.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work required.
• Valid state license in Social Work required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive school social work services to students, parents, and school staff; respond to referrals and connect families with community resources.
• Analyze information from records and interviews to determine environmental impacts and needs; report data per district methods.
• Assist the school in developing and enforcing policies related to excessive absences and truancy; attend student support team meetings.
• Participate in professional development on current trends and best practices in school social work.
• Conduct home visits to access families and conduct interviews; maintain liaison with community agencies to meet student needs.
