Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a contract in the Saint Louis area. The role covers a diverse caseload at Lemasters Elementary and potentially a nearby school, serving students including those who are non-verbal and rely on AAC devices.

Flexibility is important as caseloads may shift. You will collaborate with educators and fellow speech professionals to support student success and delivery of services

Qualifications

• Active Missouri SLP or SLPA license is required.
• School-based or pediatric experience is preferred.
• AAC devices and non-verbal interventions familiarity is highly desirable.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Ability to provide services at up to two schools if needed.
• Must meet fingerprint clearance and district technology requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to elementary students.
• Conduct assessments, develop goals, and document progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families.
• Support implementation of AAC devices and strategies for non-verbal students.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district/state regulations.
