Qualifications

• Current School Psychologist credential or eligibility in California
• Experience with elementary-aged students (TK-5 preferred)
• Familiarity with SDC environments and learning support frameworks
• Strong skills in conducting educational assessments and developing IEPs
• Excellent communication and collaboration with teachers, administrators, and parents
• Commitment to supporting student emotional, behavioral, and academic growth

Responsibilities

• Administer cognitive, behavioral, and academic assessments for students in TK-5
• Participate in and facilitate IEP meetings, providing clear reports and recommendations
• Deliver direct counseling and intervention services as needed
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff to create supportive learning environments
• Engage with families to discuss student progress and strategies for success
• Aid in the development of individualized strategies for students in various SDC and learning support contexts
