Job summary

Soliant Health is helping a California charter school recruit a School Psychologist for a PRN contract serving kindergarten through eighth grade. You will assess students, participate in multidisciplinary teams, and provide recommendations for interventions with SLP and OT colleagues.

Qualifications

• Valid credential as a School Psychologist.
• Experience in school-based settings, ideally with K-8 populations.
• Ability to conduct assessments and evaluations in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Collaborative mindset for working alongside Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Occupational Therapists (OTs).
• Adaptability and comfort working in a very small school environment (15-16 students).

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive psychological assessments and student evaluations, including functional behavior assessments as needed.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student learning, growth, and well-being.
• Provide consultation and recommendations for interventions in collaboration with SLP and OT team members.
• Prepare clear, organized, and actionable evaluation and assessment reports.
• Support staff and families with resources and recommendations to address academic and social-emotional needs.
• Maintain up-to-date records and facilitate compliance with relevant regulations and timelines.
