Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field.
• Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist (or eligibility in Kansas).
• Previous experience supporting students in a school setting.
• Thorough knowledge of evaluation practices, special education laws, and best practices for intervention.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Comfortable working with diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

• Administer psychological and educational assessments to identify student needs.
• Provide one-on-one and group counseling for students facing behavioral, emotional, or academic challenges.
• Collaborate with educators and parents to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Offer crisis intervention and participate in team-based support planning.
• Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation in a timely manner.
• Serve as a resource for staff professional development and consult on classroom management strategies.
