Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a School Psychologist for a contract position in Burnsville, MN, to cover leave from August 31, 2026 through November 26, 2026. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, supporting local students and staff and providing essential psychological services.

The candidate will conduct assessments, assist with IEP development, and collaborate with educators and families while upholding confidentiality and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a School Psychologist
• Graduate degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Expertise in psychological and educational assessments
• Strong communication and collaboration with students, staff, and families
• Ability to work with diverse student populations
• Understanding of ethical and professional standards in school psychology

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological services during leave coverage
• Conduct psychological and educational assessments and interpret results
• Support IEP development and participate in team meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, admins, and counselors on interventions
• Offer crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral consultations
• Maintain accurate documentation and data on student progress
• Advocate for students' academic, social, and emotional needs
