Sunbelt Staffing seeks an experienced school psychologist for a temporary contract near Burnsville, MN. The role offers 37.5 hours per week supporting students and staff during a leave coverage period.

You will conduct psychoeducational assessments, participate in IEP/504 teams, provide direct and consultative services, and support mental health and behavior planning. MN state licensure and an Ed.S/masters are required, with K-12 experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a school psychologist.
• Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology (EdS, PsyS, or equivalent).
• Experience in K-12 educational settings preferred.
• Strong knowledge of psychological and educational assessments.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families.
• Demonstrated skill in conducting individual and group counseling.
• Ability to work independently while being an active team contributor.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct and consultative psychological services in accordance with students’ IEPs and 504 plans
• Administer psychoeducational assessments for eligibility determinations and ongoing student support
• Participate in multidisciplinary and IEP team meetings
• Offer crisis intervention and mental health counseling as needed
• Support staff by developing and implementing behavior management strategies
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting on student progress
